The Leica M-E (type 240) was introduced in June 2019 as an affordable entry-level camera in the Leica M system.
At that time, the top model in the M system had already been the Leica M10 since 2017 and the Leica M10-P since 2018.
Technically, the Leica M-E (Type 240) is based on the Leica M (Type 240) and offers the familiar good and reliable handling as well as the proven good image quality of the 24 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor used.
The housing was designed differently from the normal leica M (type 240) models with an anthracite gray finish, which is clearly different from all the usual surface variants.
The camera was designed for a quantity of 2,000 units and we believe that no further M-E (type 240) were built beyond that.
The offered camera is in mint condition and comes including original box.
Total production: 2.000 units
Rarity forecast: R7
