Leica Historica is understood by Leica Camera as an official brand club. 2015 was the 40th anniversary of the company's founding. Following the tradition of the Leica M6, Tri-Elmar and Leicavit M models from the anniversary years 1995, 2000 and 2005, Leica Camera is once again launching an exclusive M special model for the 40th anniversary of Leica Historica.
This new limited edition is a Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246) with an APO-Summicron-M 1: 2 / 90mm ASPH silver chrome.
The camera has a special lettering “Leica Historica 1975-2015 ″ and, depending on the order, corresponding serial numbers.
The edition was limited to a maximum number of 40 pieces.
