With the thumb rest pushed onto the hot shoe, the ergonomics of the Leica Q2 are improved. If the thumb is on the support, the camera can be held and operated much more stable. It facilitates safe camera work, especially when photographing with just one hand, and enables longer exposure times. Coating and printing of the thumb rest are adapted to the design of the Leica Q2 and guarantee perfect optics.
