The new VOIGTLÄNDER HELIAR 2.8/40mm aspherical VM presents itself with a retro style on the outside but it’s equipped with the latest optical technology on the inside. The HELIAR 2.8/40mm is a compact and universally usable lens. It features five lenses in three groups based on the traditional Voigtlander HELIAR design. The highlight in addition to the ultra-compact design is the elegant and precisely manufactured focusing lever, which can also be fixed using a locking mechanism. The lens itself remains pleasantly compact with a total length of only 21mm and does not protrude into the viewfinder on the camera. The imaging performance convinces even with an open aperture with a very good sharpness right into the edge areas. The shortest shooting distance is 0.7m. A lens hood and a black snap-on cover is included in the scoop of delivery!
On request the HELIAR 2.8/40mm is also available with L/M39 screw mount!
