LEICA M Cameras

LEICA M6 silver chrome

No.:
2418933

Built between 1984 and 1998, the Leica M6 is regarded by Leica photographers and collectors as a classic and milestone in the development of the Leica M series.
Almost unchanged until 1998, there were only minor changes in detail within the production time. The M6 TTL, which was produced in parallel from 1997, had no significant improvements in detail other than the newly added flash measurement through the lens and an enlarged shutter speed dial.
During the production of the M6, there were a number of limited edition models, including the Leica M6J. This camera was the first model with a viewfinder magnification of 0.85x and thus broke with classic magnification of 0.72x which was introduced in the Leica M2 back in 1958.

The offered M6 with viewfinder magnification 0.72x comes from the year 1997 and will be delivered incl. handgrip M.
The condition, both technically and cosmetically, is very good up to mint and this is now a notable exception for the classic M6 models.
