LEICA M6 TTL titanium finish
In 2002, Leica produced a special edition of the M6 TTL with a titanium plated surface. The camera was limited to 1,000 units and was provided with brown buffalo leather body cover. Technically, beside the surface finish and the genuine leather cover the camera was identical to the regular production model. The predecessor model Leica M6 had been available from 1992 to 1998 already with titanium plated surface as a regular production model.
For this special edition Leica also produced 500 pieces each of the Summicron-M 2.0/35mm ASPH. and the Summicron-M 2.0/50mm as well as of the APO-Summicron-M 2.0/90mm ASPH. with titanium plated surface.
The very low number of cameras and lenses of the 2002 edition meant that the camera sold out relatively quickly and is very rare to find these days.
We offer a M6 TTL titanium in very good to mint condition including original packaging.
