LEITZ Tele-Elmarit-M 2,8/90mm black, five element!
The Tele-Elmarit M 2,8/90mm was offered from 1965 to 1973 parallel to the Elmarit M 2,8/90mm which was in production since 1959. It was available in both silver and black chrome.
It is a telephoto design with a very short mount and an optical computation consisting of five single elements. From about 1967, the lens was made only with black chromed surface.
Among collectors, this first version enjoys an excellent reputation. And in fact, the five element lenses are very often found in better condition than the simplified (four lenses) second version of the Tele-Elmarit 90mm built from 1973 onwards. The five element Tele-Elmarit 90mm has a beautiful Bokeh.
Our Tele-Elmarit M 2,8/90mm is a black chrome version from the year 1971. The lens is in very good to mint condition and will be delivered incl. lens hood and UVa filter.
Total production: at most 9.500 units in black chrome
